ClashScope

Privacy Policy

What ClashScope keeps about you, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.

In short

  • We keep what you give us (your account, villages, plans, messages) and public game data from Clash of Clans, to run the app.
  • No ads, no selling or renting your data, no third-party analytics or tracking.
  • Your clan mates in ClashScope see your villages' progress and war details. Things you post publicly, others can see.
  • You can delete your account yourself, any time: Profile → Security → Delete account.

Who we are

ClashScope (clashscope.com) is a fan-made tracker for Clash of Clans villages, clans and wars. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Supercell. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].

What we keep

Your account

  • Your email address and either a password (stored only as a one-way hash we can't read) or your Google sign-in. With Google we receive your email address and an account ID, nothing from your Google account beyond that.
  • Your display name, theme and text-size choices, points and the invitations you send or accept.

Your villages

  • The player tags you add, and the village data you upload or paste from the game: buildings, troops, heroes, levels and upgrade timers.
  • Public player information from the Clash of Clans API: name, Town Hall, trophies, clan, role, war stars, donations and achievements.
  • When you verify a village, the in-game API token is checked once with the Clash of Clans API and never stored. We keep that the village was verified, and when.

Clans

  • Public clan data from the Clash of Clans API: members, wars, Clan War Leagues and Capital Raids. This includes clan members who don't use ClashScope.
  • We estimate how active members are from public changes (donations, war attacks, raid attacks), never from anything private.

What you create

  • Goals, upgrade lists, CookBook recipes, war rosters, battle plans and attack claims.
  • Chat messages and pictures, friends and blocks, and reports you make.
  • Feedback posts, replies and screenshots. A bug report also records your browser type and the page you were on, to help us find the bug.

Notifications

  • If you connect Telegram, your Telegram chat ID; if you connect Discord, the webhook link you paste. Plus which alerts you turned on.
  • A log of the emails we send you and of the Telegram and Discord messages we deliver.

How the app is used

  • The pages you open and how long you stay, and each sign-in with its IP address and browser. We use this to keep accounts safe and to see which features are used.

How we use it

  • To run ClashScope: show your progress, plan upgrades, sync your clans, run war rooms and send the alerts you switched on.
  • To keep it safe: sign-in protection, stopping abuse, and moderating chat.
  • To answer you: support questions, bug reports and feature requests.
  • To improve it: which pages and features are used, looked at as totals.

We don't sell or rent your data, show ads, or use it to profile you for anyone else.

Who can see it

  • Your clan mates in ClashScope see your villages' progress and war details in their clan pages. Leaders and co-leaders (and elders, when the leader allows) manage war rosters and battle plans.
  • Anyone with a share link you or your leader creates (a war, a roster) can open it without an account.
  • Visitors to our home page, if your clan's leader or a co-leader switched on Feature on home page: the clan's name and badge, its members' in-game names, its war, CWL and Capital Raid results, and one member's village without its name or player tag. It is off unless they switch it on, and they can switch it off at any time.
  • Other players see what you post publicly: public chat rooms, public feedback and replies, public CookBook recipes, and your display name with them. Private feedback reports are seen only by you and our team.
  • Our team can open your account read-only to help with a support question, and fix data you asked us to fix; these actions are logged. Moderators see a chat message only when someone reports it, never the rest of a private conversation.

Services we rely on

  • Supercell's Clash of Clans API: we send player and clan tags to read public game data.
  • Google: when you choose Continue with Google.
  • Telegram and Discord: to deliver the alerts you set up there.
  • Our email provider: to send account and alert emails.
  • Cloudflare: carries traffic to our server and protects it from attacks.
  • Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs: serve fonts and code libraries to your browser, so they see your IP address when a page loads them.

Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We only share what the task needs.

Cookies and your browser

  • A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, a security cookie that protects forms, and a short-lived one that carries a message to the next page.
  • Your browser also stores a few small preferences, such as a sort order or a dismissed tip.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Your account and what you create: until you delete them or your account.
  • Chat: each room keeps only its most recent messages; older ones, and their pictures, are deleted automatically.
  • Telegram and Discord delivery logs: 30 days.
  • Page and sign-in records: while your account exists. We archive or remove old records from time to time.
  • Public game data about clans and wars stays as clan history.

Your choices

  • Change your display name and settings on your Profile.
  • Disconnect Telegram or Discord, or turn alerts off, on your Profile.
  • Delete any of your villages, goals, lists or recipes.
  • Keep a feedback report private.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it: [email protected].

Deleting your account

Go to Profile → Security → Delete account. You confirm with your password (or by signing in with Google again), and it happens right away. It can't be undone.

Deleted

  • Your sign-in, profile, points and invites.
  • Your villages with their uploads, goals, plans, alerts and verification.
  • Your upgrade lists and CookBook recipes.
  • Your chat messages and pictures, and your direct-message conversations.
  • Your private feedback reports, your Telegram and Discord connections, your notifications, the emails we sent you, your clan memberships, and your page and sign-in records.

Kept, without your name

  • Public feedback posts and replies you wrote, shown as “Deleted player”.
  • Your clan's war rosters and battle plans, and our admin logs, with the link to you removed.
  • Chat reports, which moderators keep.

If you're still in a clan that someone here follows, your public player information shows in its roster like any other member's, because it comes from the game. Can't sign in any more? Write to [email protected] from the email on your account.

Children

ClashScope isn't meant for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and staff access to accounts is logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top; bigger changes are also announced in the app. Questions: [email protected].
